Assistant Finance Reporting Manager / Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Role Overview:
As part of the growing Finance team, the Assistant Finance Manager will play a key role in streamlining the Finance function as the Company gears up and scales for its next stage of growth, lending their expertise and skills on a wide variety of tasks such as financial reporting, financial operations, and process enhancements. The candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of transactions from various product offerings, touching on credit cards, payments, and Web3-enabled solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive the monthly management reporting and month/period-end closing, including variance analysis.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Provide insights versus historical and forecast data, preparing comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee the billing and invoicing processes for our credit card and payment products, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with IFRS.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and the regulatory environment, particularly as they relate to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
- Assist in enhancing the internal controls environment and SOPs, ensuring their operational effectiveness and compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects with other teams to drive operational changes and provide accounting expertise to support process improvements, system implementation, and policy updates.
What we’re looking for:
- Analytical and adaptable, someone who can work autonomously and is comfortable with ambiguity and new challenges.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, business processes, and practical applications of accounting principles.
- CPA-designated or in-progress, with 4 to 6 years of practical experience gained from an accounting firm and/or industry.
- Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and other analytics tools would be a plus.
- Keen interest in fintech, crypto, and Web3 technology.
- Fluent in English, with strong written communication skills.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Financial Analyst Position
