Talent Acquisition Specialist (Latam)
We are looking for a proactive and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist based in the Latin America region to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of in-house recruitment experience, with a strong track record in hiring across the Fintech sector in roles including but not limited to legal and compliance, business strategy, product, design and or engineering roles.
This person will play a key role in driving end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to closing, while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and keeping hiring teams aligned and informed every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers across functions and time zones to deeply understand job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and team dynamics.
- Proactively manage and communicate hiring pipeline updates, feedback loops, and timelines to ensure team alignment.
- Use LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and creative sourcing techniques to attract high-quality candidates across diverse functions and geographies.
- Screen and assess candidates for experience, competencies, and cultural fit through structured interviews.
- Coordinate technical assessments and final interviews efficiently while keeping all stakeholders well-informed.
- Maintain organized and timely documentation of interviews and evaluations.
- Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter workflows.
- Own the candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring timely communication and feedback, especially with cross-border candidates.
- Work closely functional leads to improve hiring processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive momentum.
- Stay up to date with talent trends and hiring best practices in the different regions.
Qualifications
- Based in Latin America, with an understanding of regional hiring dynamics and practices.
- 5–6 years of experience in in-house talent acquisition, ideally in fast-paced or global companies.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for legal, business strategy, product, and engineering roles.
- Deep understanding of roles and organizational structures within the Fintech industry.
- Proficient in using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and collaborative hiring tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese are a strong plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously across multiple time zones.
