The Role
The North America Financial Partnerships role is key to Reap’s growth. Driven by strong customer demand, this role combines strategy and execution—you’ll help define our approach, convince partners to join us, and play a direct role in scaling Reap across North America.
You Will:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports Reap’s long-term goals and global expansion—centered around stablecoin-backed card solutions.
- Build and manage deep, trusted relationships with card networks, BIN sponsor banks, settlement banks, and other key partners to support Reap’s product offering and market reach.
- Identify, structure, and negotiate commercially viable partnerships that align with Reap’s go-to-market and operational strategies.
- Act as an advocate for Reap’s business model, ensuring organizational buy-in from partners and driving joint innovation while safeguarding Reap’s priorities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare, launch, and operationalize partnership-enabled products—from initial scoping to go-live.
- Serve as the strategic interface between partners and internal stakeholders to manage initiatives, maintain SLAs and KPIs, and uphold commercial terms.
- Navigate complex regulatory environments, aligning partner risk appetites with Reap’s business and compliance strategy.
- Continuously improve commercial terms through strong banking and partner relationships across areas such as treasury, FX, and working capital.
You might be a fit if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in institutional-facing roles across card networks, banking or fintechs.
- Extensive experience with card issuing and BIN sponsorship setups in the U.S., including collaboration with sponsor banks, card networks, and related vendors in regulated environments.
- A proven track record in strategic procurement and partnership management with traditional financial institutions, particularly in building fiat rails for high-risk or regulated businesses.
- The ability to bridge business, strategy, and product, supporting partner selection, payment product design, and the onboarding and operationalisation of partnerships.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across product, compliance, risk, finance, treasury, legal, procurement, and vendor management teams.
- A reputation as a strong networker and relationship builder, with excellent sales and partnership management capabilities.
- A demonstrated ability to scale partnerships in regulated markets, including those with complex political and compliance environments.
