Project Manager – People Operations (6-Month Contract)
About Reap
Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.
Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.
Backed by leading investors including Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Role Overview
Reap is scaling rapidly, and our People team is preparing for the next phase of global growth. To support this expansion, we are seeking a Project Manager (6-month contract) to lead and coordinate our People Expansion Project.
This role will focus on designing and implementing the structure, processes, and SOPs needed to support new employment models as Reap grows into new regions. You will ensure smooth transitions between different employment frameworks, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and build scalable processes that set the foundation for future entity operations.
This is a contract role, but your work will leave a lasting foundation for Reap’s next stage of growth.
What You'll Do
Project Management & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end People Expansion Project, from initial setup through to entity-ready structures
- Build a detailed project plan with milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Prepare regular project updates for People Ops leadership and senior stakeholders.
Process & SOP Development
- Design and document scalable SOPs for end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
- Create transition frameworks to support future moves from external employment models to in-house entities.
- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions, aligning with local regulations and internal standards.
- Build repeatable, future-proof processes for the People Ops team.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central liaison between Reap, external partners, and internal functions
- Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and regional People Ops to ensure information flow and alignment.
- Identify risks or blockers early, propose solutions, and keep stakeholders engaged and informed.
Knowledge Transfer & Handover
- Document all project learnings, processes, and outcomes clearly for future reference.
- Train People Ops team members on new SOPs and workflows.
- Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the contract.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in People Operations, HR Transformation, or global expansion.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strict timelines.
- Strong knowledge of global employment structures, expansion models, or entity setup projects.
- Excellent process design and documentation skills.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities — able to build structure from scratch.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach — willing to dig into details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Nice to Have
- Experience transitioning between third-party employment solutions and in-house entities.
- Background in HR Operations, Global Mobility, or Compliance.
- Familiarity with international employment landscapes.
Need to Know
- Contract: 6 months, with potential extension based on project needs.
- Impact: Success in this role means delivering scalable SOPs, ensuring seamless transitions between employment frameworks, and setting up Reap’s People function for sustainable global growth.
As with many roles in fast-growing teams, responsibilities may evolve over time. The ideal candidate is comfortable with change and open to taking on ad-hoc projects or additional responsibilities based on team needs and personal growth interests.
