Analyst, Business Operations - FCO (LATAM Focus)
About Reap
Reap is a leading fintech company at the forefront of blending traditional and digital finance. Founded in 2018, Reap is headquartered in Hong Kong with an office in Singapore and Mexico, and operates globally across four continents. Our team of over 200 professionals spans eight countries, serving 22,000 businesses internationally.
We continue to innovate, advancing technology and building better tools for businesses to level the playing field, giving every business the access of a large enterprise.
Our mission is to build a frictionless global financial ecosystem enabled by stablecoins that gives access to everyone to participate in the global economy through technology.
We win by harnessing the talents of our diverse team globally and embracing a Silicon Valley culture with a "win together" collaborative mindset.
As we expand across LATAM, Business Operations is the engine that turns growth into structured, scalable execution.
Operations at Reap
At Reap, Operations is more than a function — it's what makes scale possible. We build the foundation for our products: an intelligent, automated framework that delivers seamless customer experiences. Our mission is to turn complexity into competitive advantage. We treat manual tasks as bugs to be fixed and operate as the critical link between innovative products and real-world delivery.
We're looking for architects, not just operators. If building elegant solutions for complex problems energizes you, and you want to shape the operational backbone for global finance, this is your team.
The Role
The Analyst, Business Operations (FCO) is based in Mexico and owns the day-to-day operational flows that enable efficient, high-quality client onboarding. The focus of this role is execution, process improvement, and coordination.
A core part of this role is building toward scale. You will not just execute existing processes, you will document, systematise, and progressively automate them. Reap operates with an AI-first mindset, and this hire is a foundational step toward an agentic onboarding operation in LAC. You will work closely with the Product and Tech teams to design workflows that can eventually be handed off to AI tooling, starting with KYB automation.
You will be the operational engine behind Reap's LATAM onboarding experience: reducing friction, shortening timelines, and ensuring every client file is complete and well-packaged before it reaches Compliance for review.
KYC/KYB Documentation Review
Conduct checklist-based reviews of documentation submitted by clients during onboarding, verifying completeness and consistency against internal requirements.
Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients to obtain outstanding items.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of documentation received, RFIs issued, and case status throughout the onboarding workflow.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the document collection phase, creating a clear separation between client-facing operations and the Compliance team.
Onboarding Process Ownership & Turnaround Time Reduction
Own and drive end-to-end onboarding operational flows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to reduce onboarding cycle times.
Track case progress across the pipeline and proactively follow up to keep cases moving without unnecessary delays.
Own onboarding speed KPIs and work collaboratively — and with productive friction — with the Compliance team to drive faster decision turnaround without compromising quality.
Collaborate with Growth, Finance Ops, and Product teams to streamline handoffs and eliminate process inefficiencies.
Process Design & Agentic Workflow Development
Document and systematise all onboarding operational processes into clear, repeatable SOPs, built from the ground up to be automation-ready.
Identify which parts of the onboarding workflow are candidates for agentic automation (e.g., document completeness checks, RFI generation, escalation routing) and work with the Product and Tech teams to progressively implement these via automation and AI tooling.
Drive the transition from manual execution to AI-assisted workflows over time, acting as the operational domain expert who defines what the agent should do and validates its outputs.
Continuously iterate on process design based on real-world case data, bottlenecks, and feedback from the Compliance and Growth teams.
Card Scheme Partner & Third-Party Review Submissions
Prepare and submit Partner Information Forms (PIFs) and supporting documentation required by card schemes for partner onboarding and certification processes.
Coordinate third-party reviews required by card schemes and other network partners, managing timelines, documentation packages, and follow-ups to ensure submissions are complete and on schedule.
Serve as the operational point of contact for card scheme-related onboarding requirements in Mexico, liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties as needed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a detail-oriented operations professional with a builder's mindset, someone who can execute with discipline today and systematically automate tomorrow. This is not a compliance or AML role, no AML expertise is required but it is certainly a plus.
Experience
minimum 3 years of experience in business operations, KYC document processing, customer onboarding, or a similar operational role
Hands-on experience with structured checklists, data collection workflows, or document review processes
Demonstrable experience building with AI, whether through automation tools, agentic workflows, prompt-based solutions, or AI-assisted process design; we're looking for someone who has actually built things with AI, not just used it
Background in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus, but not required
Operational Execution
Strong attention to detail with a process-first mindset
Comfortable managing case queues, tracking document status, and following defined escalation protocols
Proven ability to identify operational bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements in turnaround times
Able to identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation without needing to make risk-based compliance judgements
AI & Process Automation Mindset
Approaches manual processes as problems to be solved, not tasks to be repeated
Able to think in workflows: identify inputs, outputs, decision points, and exception paths that can be translated into automated logic
Comfortable working with Product and Tech teams to scope and test automation tools
Proactively looks for opportunities to reduce human-in-the-loop steps through tooling and process redesign
Communication & Coordination
Clear communicator, able to draft professional RFIs and coordinate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners
Comfortable creating productive friction with adjacent teams (Compliance, Growth) in service of better outcomes and faster processes
Work Ethic & Time Zone
Based in or able to operate fully aligned with Mexico time zone and public holidays
Willing to work during local public holidays if required (compensatory leave will be provided)
Language Proficiency
Fluent in business English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Proficiency in any additional language (e.g., Portuguese) is a strong advantage
The Opportunity
Build the operational foundation for Reap's LATAM onboarding — and then progressively automate it.
Be the person who turns a manual, people-dependent process into a scalable, AI-assisted operation across an entire region.
Drive measurable impact from day one: own onboarding speed KPIs and reduce cycle times for a pipeline that is growing fast.
Work at the intersection of operations, compliance, and product in one of the highest-growth, highest-complexity markets in the world.
Be part of a lean, ambitious LATAM team building several products across an entire region, where your work will be visible and your impact will be direct.
Shape what AI-first operations looks like in a stablecoin-native fintech environment.
Benefits you'll enjoy
A vibrant, inclusive and international work culture
Generous annual leave to relax and recharge, plus public holidays
Health insurance budget to keep you covered
Be part of a fast-growing global team
Flexible remote work options, as well as option to work in-person at a prime office location overseeing the Castillo de Chapultepec
Home office equipment budget
Your own Corporate Reap Card — no more out-of-pocket spending
Additional benefits that keep growing over time
