Marketing Manager (LATAM-focused)
About Reap
Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.
Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.
Backed by leading investors including Acorn Pacific, Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Why Reap?
2026 is our LATAM year. Reap is now a Visa Principal Member in both Hong Kong and Mexico, and Mexico is our cross-border hub for the Americas — our first local card programs launch this year. We have the resources — and the mandate — to move fast.
This is our first marketing hire on the ground in Latin America — a true player-coach seat. For the first several months, you are the regional marketing team: strategy and execution, both, in the same pair of hands. You'll work daily with our global marketing team (Asia-based) and our country managers across LATAM (Mexico, Brazil, Spanish-speaking markets), acting as the bridge between the two.
Our internal bar for success: within six months, our founders can't tell whether you belong to the global marketing team or the LATAM team — because you'll be fully both.
We're interviewing in person in Mexico City the week of June 15 — the process is fast for the right person.
You'll be in charge of
Owning LATAM market activations end-to-end — events and PR. Pick the three or four conferences that actually matter (not fifteen), negotiate sponsorships, run the booth, design side events and curated dinners, and secure speaker slots for our leadership. You'll also be our point person with the PR agency in Mexico — briefing them, shaping press moments, and timing announcements to each activation — and drive a disciplined 48-hour follow-up motion so every activation converts into pipeline, not photos.
Building local partnerships and co-marketing. Work with fintechs, PSPs, exchanges, and ecosystem players who already have distribution and trust in the region.
Backing our country managers across LATAM. Act as the marketing counterpart to our country managers in Mexico, Brazil, and Spanish-speaking LATAM — turning their market plans into action and giving them sales-enablement support, so no market waits on HQ timezones to move.
Localizing, not translating. Adapt our global messaging for Mexico, Brazil, and Spanish-speaking LATAM — real voices over corporate boilerplate, founder-led content, LinkedIn-first B2B, short-form video where it earns attention.
Running hands-on demand generation for Mexico — and owning the number. Landing pages and campaigns with our digital team, lead capture at every touchpoint, CRM hygiene in HubSpot, and personal ownership of a monthly signup and pipeline target — reported in a way leadership actually reads.
Multiplying yourself with AI. For the first several months you are the LATAM marketing team, so use AI to clone your output — drafting and localizing copy, spinning up campaigns, synthesizing market and competitor intel, and running follow-up at scale. We expect this seat to set the bar for what one AI-fluent marketer can ship.
Feeding the machine. Bring local market and competitor intelligence back into global product marketing, PR, and strategy.
What We're Looking For
5–8+ years in B2B marketing, with meaningful time in fintech or payments (card issuing, cross-border payments, PSPs, banking infrastructure). Crypto and stablecoin fluency is a strong plus — we serve both crypto-native and traditional fintech audiences, and you'll need to speak to both.
A doer first. You've personally shipped campaigns, staffed booths, written the copy, briefed the designer, and pulled the HubSpot list at midnight. You enjoy execution and believe strategy is earned through it. If day-to-day execution isn't where you want to spend your time, this isn't your seat.
A zero-to-one builder. You've stood up a market, a function, or a launch from nothing — no local team, no playbook, no budget handed to you. You're comfortable being the infrastructure before you build one.
Fast. You ship in days, not quarters — you can stand up a campaign or an event in under two weeks and compress timelines without dropping quality.
AI-fluent in your daily workflow. You already use AI to do more with less, and can show how it changes what you ship — not just how you talk about it.
Full-funnel by instinct. Equally at home in a curated CEO dinner and a campaign dashboard. You connect offline relationships to online pipeline — and you can prove it with numbers.
Built for a global, on-the-road life. Crisp async updates that keep an Asia-based HQ aligned without midnight calls on either side — and you thrive across timezones, jetlag isn't a blocker, and you're ready to travel actively across LATAM (Mexico, Brazil, Spanish-speaking markets) to run activations and build relationships on the ground.
Mexico City–based — and you know everyone, which is the pipeline. Call it networking, a relationship book, or a leads pipeline: you already know the founders, PSPs, banks, exchanges, media, and journalists who matter across fintech and payments in the region, and you turn those relationships into events, partnerships, and deals. Pan-LATAM curiosity, Mexico depth — your network is an asset on day one, not something you'll spend a year building.
Spanish native or bilingual, fluent English. Portuguese is a plus.
Nice to Have
Stablecoins, payments, or Visa/Mastercard ecosystem experience
Briefing and managing agencies, freelancers, and PR partners
Event budget ownership
